SHRINK SLEEVE

Shrink sleeve is a tubular shaped packaging. Shrink sleeve offers many possibilities in terms of marketing: promotion and launch of new products, new image of existing products, market testing, special lines and multi-pack presentation.

CONCEPT

The 360° concept protects the product and optimizes the printable area for more image and information space. Software graphic distortion transforms the basic artwork and allows us to use the sleeves on a wide variety of containers while providing photographic quality printing.

The shrink sleeve can be perforated to facilitate opening of the product. It can be used to replace the traditional security seals and a tear strip can also be provided. The internal printing material ensures a perfect resistance to scuffing.

PROCESS

Shrink sleeve labels are printed on a plastic film PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or polyester film PET (polyethylene terephthalate). The material is then sealed onto itself in order to form a tube (sleeve). The product is then delivered in rolls or sheets according to customer requirements.

On the packaging line, sleeves are automatically or manually slipped over the containers, and then move in a heated tunnel (retractor) where they shrink to fit the container’s shape.
